We are seeking a highly skilled Securities Operations Specialist I to join our team at Principal Financial Group. As a key member of our Principal Custody Solutions (PCS) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our securities and cash-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Differentiate, process, and reconcile complex transactions, requiring extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.
  • Customer Service: Research inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document Review: Review time-sensitive and complex documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Procedure Development: Create or revise departmental procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate situations involving multiple departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Perform day-to-day processing tasks, including risk management and compliance.
  • Physical Security: Process physical security receipts and withdrawals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in customer service, operations, financial services, or business processing.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills (written and verbal), time management, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • SEI Trust 3000 Experience: Experience with SEI Trust 3000 is a plus.
