Security Specialist

Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for providing concierge-level security services to our clients, including residential and event security, response services, and investigations.

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
- Deescalate tense situations and individuals, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct thorough investigations and complete detailed reports, documenting all incidents and occurrences.
- Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
- Transport clients to and from company locations and events, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
- Secure client residences and perimeters, reviewing CCTV footage, managing access controls, and responding to alarms as needed.
- Identify and escalate equipment deficiencies and failures, ensuring the highest level of security and safety.
- High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
- Armed security license, CCW, and CPR/First Aid certifications are required.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
This role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions, with exposure to sensitive and confidential information. Regular computer usage, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision are also required.
Work in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking for long periods of time, with occasional climbing of stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
On occasion, may be required to perform stressful and physical activity, respond to emergency situations, and travel as required.
