This involves accurate data entry, including demographic and financial information, to ensure a successful financial outcome for all patient services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Process patient registrations, including obtaining necessary signatures and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and third-party payers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and billing data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
Requirements:
- Up to five years' experience in hospital registration or a comparable position preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
