Job Title: Ophthalmic Care Specialist

**About the Role:**We are seeking an Ophthalmic Care Specialist to join our team at Vitreoretinal Surgery PLLC. As an Ophthalmic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering high-quality services.

**Responsibilities:*** Engage with patients and demonstrate a patient-centric attitude and professionalism that instills confidence in our services.* Gather and relay important patient data to the physicians.* Administer dilation drops when necessary and perform visual acuity tests, glaucoma screenings, and OCTs.* Direct and accompany patients to appropriate rooms for care as needed.

**Requirements:*** High school degree or GED* Minimum of 2 years of previous ophthalmology experience (preferred)* Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)* Excellent communication and teamwork skills* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment* Physical capability to work long hours in a dynamic setting with potential emergency situations.
