Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related system problems
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and Cenero personnel
  • Configure and program equipment for various applications
  • Interface with manufacturers to identify and resolve issues
  • Make recommendations on whether to repair or replace defective products
  • Effectively communicate and document activities, including keeping records up to date and entering accurate time sheet information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • At least two years of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of various types of audiovisual and related systems, including switchers, projectors, and digital signage
  • General knowledge of ISDN T1/E1, Ethernet, and H.320, H.323, and SIP protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
