About the Role:

As a Medical Screener at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibility will be to screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results. You will also be responsible for answering phones, greeting donors, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen donors and take vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Record donor information and maintain accurate records
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 pounds
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
