Key ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Psychiatric Consultant will oversee mid-level providers at the Clinic in compliance with applicable regulations and the policies of the Company and the Clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing adequate oversight and supervision for mid-level practitioners at the designated Clinics.
- Conducting in-person supervisory visits at each assigned Clinic regularly (at least once a month via videoconference or in-person) and supplying confirmatory documentation to the Company for all such interactions.
- Co-signing a minimum of twenty charts per clinic supervised each month within thirty (30) days of the corresponding patient visits.
- Reviewing historical, physical, and therapeutic data upon direct request from the Company in specified circumstances.
- Maintaining remote access to the Company's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Being available for clinical inquiries from Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants during all clinical hours.
- Notifying the Company if unavailable to perform the Services, allowing for the arrangement of qualified coverage.
- Informing the assigned Clinic of any changes in call or supervision coverage.
- Occasionally providing substitute supervision for other supervising physicians at their request.
- Staying informed about organizational protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Providing mid-level supervision services for our Behavioral Health Team as requested.
- Submitting an updated curriculum vitae annually.
- State Medical License with a focus on Behavioral Health and Psychiatry.
- Board Certification in Adult or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in Mental Health Practice.
