Job Overview

The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care within our Medical Operations team. This position involves addressing patient inquiries, assisting with appointment scheduling, and utilizing clinical expertise to enhance patient health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and the Care team to ensure timely and quality responses to patient requests.
  • Engage with patients through phone, video, or secure messaging to provide education on treatment plans and address basic medical inquiries within your professional scope.
  • Manage patient scheduling, follow-ups, and the blood test ordering process while serving as a resource for physicians.
  • Work alongside the Medical Operations team to identify and implement solutions that alleviate challenges faced by members and physicians.
  • Team up with fellow nurses to deliver exceptional, continuous patient care.
  • Under physician supervision, coordinate patient care within the medical team.
  • Assist in training and educating the Care team on new initiatives.
  • Act as the patient's advocate, reporting any technical issues that hinder the patient experience to the product and operations teams.
  • Innovate engaging and professional methods to provide the best care for our patients.
Qualifications:
  • BSN degree in Nursing.
  • Possession of an active, unrestricted RN license in New York, with additional licenses in states such as CA, PA, OH, or MA preferred, and the capability to obtain further state licenses as necessary.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in direct patient care in an acute care environment, or 2 years of combined experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or insurance settings.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, patience, and empathy in member interactions.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to think critically and independently, while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Experience in a rapidly growing operational environment.
  • Capability to develop metrics for assessing quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Experience in building and managing a network of service providers.
  • A keen eye for scalability and a mindset focused on improvement.
  • Familiarity with KPI-driven environments and successful goal-setting.
