We are seeking a highly skilled Shock Trauma Team Collaborator to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to advancing nursing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work collaboratively with attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease processes, health maintenance, and health promotion activities.
  • Research Participation: Serve as a sub-investigator or principle investigator in industry-sponsored research and contribute to advancing nursing knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. A Master of Science Degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
  2. A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated ability to promote professionalism through involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, publishing, and/or certification in area of specialty.
  3. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served and maintain updated hospital safety and other mandatory training.
Working Conditions

This position may require weekend, shift work, holiday, on-call, and overtime. Regular exposure to patients possessing infectious diseases is possible; Universal Precautions must be observed.
