Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our trauma team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically injured patients. Your expertise will include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing advanced clinical care, such as wound management and suturing.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of trauma patients, including history taking and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with trauma surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Provide advanced clinical care, including wound management, suturing, and other procedures as necessary
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient response
- Participate in trauma resuscitation and provide support in emergency situations

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland
- National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trauma or critical care
