Key Responsibilities- Generate New Deposits and Revenue: Develop and execute strategies to increase new deposits and revenue for the bank.
- Apply Banking Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of banking products and services to meet customer needs and enable them to achieve their financial goals.
- Create Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver sales presentations to explain services offered and make recommendations based on client needs.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with customers to create opportunities for financial solutions and ideas.
- Track Sales Activities: Monitor sales activities and timelines to ensure deliverables are met and on-time.
- Research Competition: Stay up-to-date on the competition's capabilities and gaps, and position Westfield Bank Treasury Services accordingly.
- Partner with Retail Managers: Collaborate with Retail Managers to onboard clients and provide ongoing support.
- Follow Internal Controls: Adhere to internal control procedures to prevent fraud, deficiencies, and mishandling of funds.
- Refer New Business: Refer new business opportunities to banking partners.
- Participate in Networking Events: Participate in networking events within the community through memberships, outside business events, and professional associations.
- Provide Regulatory Support: Assist in response to regulatory and internal/external audit requests.
- Maintain Compliance: Maintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with the Bank's internal policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Assist in Training: Assist in training and development on business products and services for customers.
- Travel as Required: Travel occasionally to participate in special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations.
- 4+ Years of Related Banking Experience: Possess 4+ years of related banking or direct sales experience.
- Comprehensive Understanding of Banking Products: Have a comprehensive understanding of at least two of the following: Commercial Deposit products, Treasury Management products, and account analysis.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Ability to Build Relationships: Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to Operate in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to operate in a fast-paced, flexible work environment with competing demands.
- Commitment to High Integrity and Ethics: Commitment to high integrity and ethics.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word) or other transferable software packages.
- Bachelor's Degree or Commensurate Experience: Possess a Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
