Job Summary

Night Vision Devices Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of Electro Optical components and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure that all assembled components meet the required quality standards.
  • Maintain a Safe and Orderly Work Area: Keep the workspace clean and organized to prevent accidents and ensure efficient production.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately update inventory records, parts used, and additional parts needed to maintain system accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Report defective materials to the supervisor and ensure that all assembled components meet the required quality standards.
  • Manufacturing Schedule: Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum High School diploma; Post-High School education with a technical background is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Soldering Skills: Ability to use a solder station and knowledge of basic soldering skills, including surface mount and through-hole soldering.
  • Electronics Knowledge: Ability to read and understand electronics schematics and use a multimeter.
