About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling medical parts in a cleanroom environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict quality control standards. You will also be involved in assembling a variety of molded parts on the production floor, joining or soldering molded components, and inserting small metal components into parts such as door handles.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble medical parts in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict quality control standards
* Assemble a variety of molded parts on the production floor, including joining or soldering molded components
* Insert small metal components into parts such as door handles
* Work in a team environment to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
* Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
* Basic manufacturing knowledge and experience with assembly processes
* Soldering and assembly skills, with ability to learn new techniques
Work Environment
The work environment is a clean, organized, well-lit production floor within the Assembly department. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for 1st shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM for 2nd shift, and Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM for 3rd shift.
