Job Description

Excel Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled Dock Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Dock Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and servicing dock equipment at various customer locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial doors and dock equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service dock equipment, including dock levelers, dock shelters, and dock seals
  • Perform high-quality service repairs on commercial doors and dock equipment
  • Diagnose equipment problems and offer solutions to meet customer specifications
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to determine work schedules and complete paperwork
  • Drive to job sites as assigned and maintain a professional image of self and vehicles

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 48+ months related experience in maintaining commercial doors or dock equipment
  • Welding or electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Valid driver's license and insurable through the company's commercial insurance
