Job Summary

As a Nurse Manager at Adventist Health, you will lead and manage departmental staff, fiscal, and material resources to achieve overall lab goals and standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze critical and outcome data to design and implement improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage staff, fiscal, and material resources in alignment with overall lab goals and standards.
  • Represent the catheterization lab at meetings, prepare budgetary reports, and develop required policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Document monthly statistical summaries and variances, and serve as a liaison between the lab, other departments, hospitals, physicians, and related offices.
  • Collaborate with nurses, senior technologists, and educators to ensure staff competencies, evaluations, and actions are documented and completed on time.
  • Oversee daily lab functions, verify appropriate minimum staffing, and update annually.
  • Ensure accountability between departments.
  • Analyze critical and outcome data to design and implement improvement strategies.
  • Exercise independent judgment when recruiting, training, coaching, supervising, and responsibly directing assigned staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required.
  • Master's Degree: Preferred.
  • Five years' technical experience: Preferred.
  • One year's leadership experience: Preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification: Required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA certification: Required.
