Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager

As a Registered Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Adventist Health, you will lead and manage departmental staff, fiscal, and material resources. You will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff, fiscal, and material resources in alignment with overall lab goals and standards.
- Represent the catheterization lab at meetings, prepare budgetary reports, and develop required policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Document monthly statistical summaries and variances and serve as a liaison between the lab, other departments, hospitals, physicians, and related offices.
- Collaborate with nurses, senior technologists, and educators to ensure staff competencies, evaluations, and actions are documented and completed on time.
- Oversee daily lab functions, verify appropriate minimum staffing, and department goals are achieved.
- Analyze critical and outcome data to design and implement improvement strategies.
- Exercise independent judgment when recruiting, training, coaching, supervising, and responsibly directing assigned staff.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA certification.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Five years' technical experience preferred.
- One year's leadership experience preferred.
