Overview

As a key member of our sales team, the Catering Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction in the food, beverage, and room rental segments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hotel services.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of the competition and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the banquet department to deliver exceptional event execution and exceed client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's services and amenities, effectively communicating their value to clients.
  • Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on hospitality and catering.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and revenue management.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques, revenue management, and hotel operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
