Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Crew Performance: Oversee the daily activities of a line clearance crew, ensuring that tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Enforce Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, and ensure that all crew members are aware of and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Coordinate with Customers and Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with customers, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that services are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Manage Crew Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Coordinate crew schedules and resource allocation to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations and Coaching: Evaluate the performance of crew members and provide coaching and feedback to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and reports of crew performance, safety incidents, and other relevant data to support business decisions.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of crew members.
  • Knowledge of Arboriculture and Safety Protocols: A basic knowledge of arboriculture, including tree identification, growth habits, and pruning techniques, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License and CDL: A valid driver's license and CDL, with a clean driving record.
  • Herbicide Applicator or Operator Certification: A valid herbicide applicator or operator certification, as required by Wright Tree Service and local, state, and federal law.
