Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, repair, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery issues, and ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, maintain a schedule for inspections, and fabricate parts for repairs and upgrades, utilizing precision measuring instruments and equipment.
  • Identify problems, clean, and repair equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work area, and adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Upgrade or convert obsolete electrical components and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education/experience in production maintenance, with a strong foundation in mechanical systems and electrical principles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with a proven track record of maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems, and a strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience in machine setup, installation, and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to perform calibrations, installation, and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation, with a strong understanding of technical principles and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with inventory control and maintaining continuity among work teams, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures and moving machinery.
