Job Title: Senior Data Governance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Lead to join our team at Techstra Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving and building out valuable business use cases, supporting and elevating Data Lineage strategy, and leveraging data models to visualize data structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and data needs
  • Drive and build out high-impact business use cases
  • Support and elevate Data Lineage strategy with a focus on integrating data quality and controls
  • Write and run SQL queries for data analysis, inquiry, and extraction
  • Leverage data models to visualize data structure, physical, and logical data models
  • Demonstrate ability to understand data attributes across complex systems
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of business data and analytic solutions, processes, and data engineering capabilities
  • Interpret business needs and rapidly implement effective technical solutions
  • Create technical design documents, test plans, and supporting materials
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in a management role
  • Experience with Collibra and data governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and people skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure
  • Experience with complex data structures and ingestion methodologies
  • Strong experience in data analysis and modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with business tools such as Jira and Confluence
