Job Summary: The Admissions Director will play a critical role in maintaining admission guidelines, marketing programs and facilities, and resolving patient/family dissatisfactions. About the Role: As an Admissions Director, you will be responsible for maintaining admission guidelines by writing, updating, and recommending changes to admission criteria, policies, and procedures. You will also market programs and facilities by preparing and providing informational brochures, writing and placing advertisements, answering questions, conducting tours, obtaining applicant information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admission criteria.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain admission guidelines by writing, updating, and recommending changes to admission criteria, policies, and procedures.
  • Market programs and facilities by preparing and providing informational brochures, writing and placing advertisements, answering questions, conducting tours, obtaining applicant information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admission criteria.
  • Resolve patient/family dissatisfactions by investigating concerns, recommending changes in service policies and procedures, preparing admissions reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, and enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as an Admissions Director preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a healthcare-related field, or 3 years equivalent experience in lieu of degree. You will also need to have knowledge of EPIC, Allscripts, Careport, Navi Access, and Carelon.
