Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide fast, efficient, and friendly customer service, greeting and thanking all customers, and resolving any customer concerns that may arise.
  • Store Operations: Report to work on time, enter all sales in the Passport at the time of sale, brew coffee, prepare and stock other dispensed beverages and supplies, maintain cleanliness of the interior building, including restrooms, check-in vendor deliveries, and complete and submit daily paperwork.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Restock, face, and clean shelves and coolers, verify no out-of-date merchandise exists, and maintain the cleanliness of the exterior building, fuel pumps, and parking lot.
  • Food Service: Prepare and stock fast food items, learn hot and cold requirements, and maintain a clean and safe food preparation area.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Attend store team meetings, contribute your concerns and ideas, be flexible with changes, and be knowledgeable about and follow company policies.
  • Safety and Security: Be safety and security conscious, following guidelines set out in the safety manual, and report any incidents to your store manager immediately.
Requirements:
  • Age Requirement: Must be 19 years of age to sell alcohol.
  • Experience: Preferred convenience store or grocery store experience as a cashier.
  • Skills: Service orientation, strong oral and written communication, able to follow directions and remain calm under pressure, and able to operate Passport cash register and count change to customers.
  • Physical Demands: Must be in physically good shape and able to stand during the entire work shift, occasionally requires lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and frequently requires lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
