Job Overview

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our crew and ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the construction crew with various tasks, including digging pits, trenches, and foundations.
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment, following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
  • Clean up the worksite when the project is complete.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds.
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat & humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Out of town travel and/or overtime is a possibility.
  • English and Spanish fluency a plus, but not required.
