Position Overview

The Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of the Lodge, ensuring it aligns with the high standards set by Great Wolf Resorts and our guests. This position involves the thorough cleaning and upkeep of shared spaces within the resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of public spaces, including but not limited to: floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark areas, elevators, windows, and doors.
  • Ensure that elevator zones are kept clear of litter and debris.
  • Regularly empty waste bins located in common areas.
  • Understand and follow material safety data sheets for all cleaning chemicals, using them as directed.
  • Report any maintenance concerns observed in public areas.
  • Operate the trash compactor and cardboard baler as needed.
  • Engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms upon request and return them to storage when necessary.
  • Assist with the cleaning of guest rooms when required.

Qualifications

Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

Behaviors: Professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Motivations: A desire to contribute to a positive guest experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous.

Licenses & Certifications: None required.
