Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring optimal equipment functionality, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the activities of the maintenance team in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide guidance to team members on safety standards, quality assurance, operational efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct performance assessments and delegate daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance among team members through regular checks and corrective actions.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and optimize operational timelines.
  • Complete Root Cause Analysis and document downtime occurrences.
  • Support weekend operations and assist with ongoing tasks.
  • Address equipment breakdowns and evaluate training requirements through audits.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with processing machinery and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with USDA and HACCP regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with raw materials.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, commitment to safety, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Openness to participate in required training programs.

This role is physically demanding and may involve lifting heavy objects.
