Job Summary

The Database Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the database manager to develop, design, execute, and analyze database marketing programs, including direct mail, email, mobile apps, and SMS, as well as create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Manage database maintenance and direct mail operations, including internal and prospect list procurement.
  • Marketing Analysis: Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing activities, creating and analyzing reports for tracking of business results and ensuring data integrity.
  • Marketing Operations: Maintain a list of management activities, including direct mail list requests, report requests, and query requests.
  • Market Segmentation: Perform analysis on the customer database to appropriately segment and target various markets for promotional, direct mail, email, and social media campaigns, and make recommendations as needed.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Revenue Analysis: Analyze player revenue trends, using surveys and player frequency information.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on new or existing postal rules or regulations and their impact on operations, and notify management of any pertinent information.
  • Data Hygiene: Schedule and oversee regular data hygiene procedures.
  • Social Media Campaign Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of each social media campaign comprehensively.
  • Content Creation: Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and proper grammar.
  • Vendor Management: Correspond with vendors, agencies, and other departments as required to complete tasks and projects.
  • Marketing Program Setup: Set up direct marketing programs within all promotional systems.
  • Assistance: Assist the Sr. Director of Marketing as needed, and assist in marketing functions.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of report writing, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as internal controls as they relate to the marketing function and the team.
  • Negotiation Skills: Possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess organizational and time management skills, while paying close attention to detail such as spelling, numbers, and grammar.
  • Digital Media Skills: Skilled at video and photo editing, digital media formats, and HTML.
  • Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze, interpret, and understand optimal reach and frequency strategies.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial and marketing analysis reports, and governmental regulations.
  • Decision Making: Ability to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
  • Program Development: Ability to develop, implement, and train on programs.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make sound and accurate decisions.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent required.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and word required.
  • Experience: 2 (two) years' experience in database, telemarketing, email campaigns, or related field, preferred.
  • Casino Gaming Experience: 2 (two) years' casino gaming experience preferred.
  • Equivalent Combination: OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is accepted.
