Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is a leading US-owned security company, providing a full range of physical security services to government and commercial customers on four continents.

The firm specializes in providing tailored services to clients whose needs exceed the sophistication and expertise of traditional guard firms.

As a Security Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the security team for assigned Cargill Affiliate locations during normal and emergency operations.

You will ensure that security staff are prepared for shift duties, including ensuring all posts are staffed for every shift.

You will identify improvements to delivery and execution of security services and handle all administrative reporting, including reviewing and signing all timesheets, maintaining shift incident reports and shift logs, submitting accurate data for payroll, etc.

You will develop staff in both technical and professional skills, including ongoing refresher training for all guards throughout the calendar year.

You will evaluate the effectiveness of security staff response, knowledge, and competency.

You will resolve issues in a timely manner and demonstrate ability to resolve conflicts through deescalation techniques.

You will demonstrate ability to represent the Supplier in the absence of the Site Security Manager.

You will demonstrate knowledge of practices in the security industry.

Qualifications

  • Speak, read, and write English
  • Must be age 18 or older
  • Shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum 4 years security or related experience
  • Minimum 2 years Security Guard Level 3 or comparable status
Expected Responsibilities

  • Meets requirements of all subordinate security positions
  • Establish relationship within customer organization and delivers high-quality services to customer
  • Actively contribute to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of Cargill Affiliate location operations, including security procedures, policies, and regulations related to the execution of security services at the locations
  • Accountable for quality of all deliverables
