Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and bring-up Wi-Fi AP products and accessories, ensuring seamless integration with our award-winning routing and switching products.
  • Debug and validate Wi-Fi AP designs, collaborating closely with our Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering teams.
  • Investigate, present, and evaluate new hardware solutions and/or PoC, driving innovation and excellence in our wireless infrastructure.
  • Review and evaluate designs of outsourced projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with our RF team and Antenna team to integrate designs and validate designs together, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Generate necessary documents for all categories listed above, including PoC, PRD, HRD, HWFS, BOM, test plan, FA report, and more.
  • Support compliance testing, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Sustain legacy products, ensuring continued excellence and innovation in our wireless infrastructure.


Requirements:



  • Minimum BSEE with 5+ years of relevant experience in high-speed digital hardware design.
  • Experience in all aspects of hardware design, including schematics capture, PCB layout constraint, DFM implementation, bring-up, and design validations.
  • Experience in common interfaces, PCIe, 10GE, DDR4, SPI, I2C, USB, UART, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of SI and PI for high-speed designs, as well as DC/DC switching power supply, including PoE PSE and PD.
  • Strong proficiency in OrCAD, Allegro, Arena, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with design for compliance/regulatory testing and lab equipment, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, Sifos PoE tester, and thermal chamber.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to proactively lead the whole design from scratch to product.
