Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Regional Credit Assistant to support our Regional Credit Manager in enhancing customer relationships, both internal and external. This role is essential in adhering to our credit and collections policies while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Credit Manager in managing customer relationships and following established credit policies.
  • Conduct high-volume credit and collection calls to address overdue accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve customer chargebacks effectively.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and manage cash applications.
  • Provide administrative support, including generating aging reports, managing correspondence, and processing lien waivers and write-offs.
  • Maintain performance standards for assigned accounts and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely completion of lien and bond waivers and releases.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with lien and bond waivers is essential.
  • Knowledge of lien laws is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in analysis and collections.
  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in interfacing with various departments within the organization.
