**Position Overview**
This role is critical in providing technical guidance to enhance the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of manufacturing processes at our facility. You will play a pivotal role in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and quality initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
  • **Capital Projects** - Support the execution of growth initiatives and technology upgrades, including project management, process documentation, and training.
  • **Engineering Standards** - Develop and implement new engineering standards and innovative uses of existing technologies.
  • **Product/Process Rationalization** - Conduct analyses to support product and process rationalization, including benchmarking and cost comparisons.
  • **Tooling Development** - Design and create tooling and gauging necessary for efficient product manufacturing.
  • **Standards and Procedures** - Ensure adherence to plant standards and develop technical instructions to align with corporate quality requirements.
  • **Project Management** - Utilize effective methodologies to manage resources and ensure project timelines are met.
  • **Continuous Improvement** - Provide technical support for initiatives aimed at enhancing throughput, quality, and safety.
  • **Collaboration** - Coordinate efforts with other managers and vendors to achieve operational goals.
**Required Skills**:
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make informed recommendations based on data
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for working in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in CAD software for tooling design
**Minimum Qualifications**:
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a preference for belt/rubber expertise
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO-9001
  • Proven leadership and management experience
**Education and Experience**: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with over 10 years of relevant experience.
