Manufacturing Engineer

Springfield ReManufacturing Corp. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation in our remanufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and optimize delivery.
- Design and source tooling and fixtures to support production needs.
- Apply knowledge of product design, materials, and machining processes to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Support CNC programming and run-off to ensure equipment operates at peak performance.
- Assist production operators with equipment issues and provide guidance on daily operations.
- Educate manufacturing operators on key concepts and best practices.
- Collect and analyze data to support process capability studies, gage studies, and equipment utilization studies.
- Participate in corrective action projects to address and resolve production issues.
- Define machinery and tooling requirements for new product introductions.
- Support the planning and execution of capital investment plans.
- Engage in the New Product Development process, contributing through all phases of new product introduction.
- B.A./B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Management.
- Proficient in programming CNC machinery using CAM systems and Fanuc controls (G Code).
- Experience with blueprint specifications.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and professional information effectively.
- Strong initiative and capability to work independently.
- Diverse mechanical knowledge, including engines and engine components.
