Job Title: ECBO Lead Case Manager - Houston

At American GI Forum - NVOP, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ECBO Lead Case Manager to join our team in Houston. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our ECBO case management team, providing case conferencing assistance, and assisting with case management plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ECBO case management team and provide case management support to team members.
  • Perform as the lead case manager in addressing the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and unemployment.
  • Prepare and submit support service requests as needed.
  • Prepare and submit MIS data information on client cases as required.
  • Maintain client files, including documentation, case notes, and follow-ups.
  • Responsible for achieving site and individual goals assigned and preparing corrective action plans.
  • Responsible for individual and site goals, including number of enrollments, placements per month, support services, training requirements, job preparation assistance, and coordination with other community resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years' experience in a responsible position interacting with low-income persons or families, veterans, specifically performing as a case manager in job counseling, employment, job training, job development, employment services, or related field.
  • Or a minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited college with a minimum of 5 years' significant experience in related work experience.
  • Must have transportation and a valid Texas driver's license.
  • Must also provide proof of current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Must pass a drug test and background record check.
