  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students with communication disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Work in a fully self-contained setting, supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities, and in classrooms with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Multiple Disabilities, and Cognitive Disabilities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL).
