">Responsibilities">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and comforting patients to prepare them for their physical therapy sessions
  • Displaying excellent customer service skills and providing encouragement when appropriate
  • Following the plan of care established for the patient by the therapist
  • Assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks and accommodating patients' needs
  • Educating patients about equipment usage and safety
  • Assisting patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques
  • Applying therapeutic modalities as directed by the therapist
  • Maintaining open communication with patients, physicians, and staff members
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with patients and fellow staff members
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment areas in a clean and organized manner

  • No required education or experience necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing a physical therapist or other healthcare degree
