Anaplan Solutions Architect/Lead Developer

MDMS Recruiting LLC is looking for a proficient Anaplan Solutions Architect/Lead Developer. In this role, you will take charge of designing, developing, and executing solutions utilizing Anaplan to enhance incentive compensation management, performance reporting, analytics, planning, and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and convert them into effective technical solutions.
  • Architect and build Anaplan applications, focusing on data models and dashboards.
  • Oversee the comprehensive Anaplan architecture to guarantee that new models and improvements to existing models are integrated and optimized.
  • Maintain and refine all current Anaplan models, gathering and delivering requirements for new or enhanced functionalities to promote further automation and data integration, as well as to improve user experience.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of Anaplan applications to pinpoint and resolve issues, ensuring peak performance.
  • Offer technical/application support and troubleshooting for Anaplan applications, collaborating closely with end-users to meet their needs and resolve system-related challenges.
  • Stay informed about Anaplan features and enhancements, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage them for improved incentive compensation management, performance reporting, and planning processes.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and data teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Anaplan with other systems and processes.
  • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with the Anaplan product, including at least 3 implementations focused on incentive compensation and revenue models.
  • Extensive background in providing Anaplan solution architecture and model building.
  • Strong experience with core financial processes and broader enterprise performance management, including incentive compensation management, performance reporting/analytics, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • A passion for creating holistic, end-to-end integrated solutions.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to constructively challenge and not merely gather requirements, potentially automating sub-optimal manual processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A resourceful, independent self-starter who thrives in a team environment and can work effectively with minimal guidance.
  • Skilled in documenting complex models and processes professionally.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong desire to create an outstanding user experience.
  • Anaplan certification is advantageous.
