The Inventory Management Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving operations. The primary objective is to enhance and streamline material flow and inventory management under the guidance of Material Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving housekeeping duties while ensuring asset protection.
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory within stockrooms; set up and uphold warehouse locations, investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies.
  • Guarantee timely issuance of materials for production needs.
  • Supervise personnel involved in Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving operations.
  • Collaborate with Production Control, Production Supervisors, Engineers, and Management.
  • Assess process modifications, develop procedures, prepare management recommendations, and implement enhancements.
  • Act as Baan (ERP system) Coordinator, liaising with IS personnel and end users to troubleshoot issues and execute process improvements.
  • Utilize software to generate custom queries, including SQL-type queries, and reports for end users and management on an as-needed basis or as part of established procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Logistics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Formal training in Microsoft Access at an intermediate level, including query and database creation.
  • Familiarity with SQL and custom reporting tools such as Monarch or Crystal Reports.
  • Intermediate-level training in Microsoft Excel, including the creation of Pivot Tables and Charts.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with an ERP or MRP system, preferably Baan.
  • At least two years of experience in an Inventory Management setting, with knowledge of warehouse layouts.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff effectively.
