Speech Language Pathologist PRN Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a PRN Home Health professional. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients in their homes.

  • Job Summary: Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to address communication disorders.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct patient assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and treatment needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties.
    • Deliver direct therapy services, including articulation therapy, language therapy, fluency therapy, voice therapy, and swallowing therapy.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing facility required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care.
