We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Project Director to join our team at LVI Associates in Tacoma. As a seasoned multidisciplinary engineering organization, we provide innovative design solutions to clients in the public and private sectors.

Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year

About the Role:

  • This position will oversee and guide our engineering personnel, directing projects and communicating directly with jurisdictions and clients.
  • You will manage the entire civil engineering project lifecycle, including project planning, design, and execution.
  • Key responsibilities include heading all engineering operations, scheduling, budgeting, and collaborating with other fields.
  • You will supervise all engineering operations such as planning, allocating funds, and working with other disciplines.

Requirements:

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar degree is necessary.
  • At least 10 years of experience designing civil sites, utilities, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, and preventing erosion and sedimentation in Western Washington.
  • 3+ years in a civil consulting capacity with a steadily increasing pattern of responsibility, managing client relationships and staff mentoring.
  • A solid track record of managing projects, creating budgets, and overseeing timelines for site development initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience using Civil 3D for construction documents and storm water modeling using MGS Flood, WWHM, and other software.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
