Job Description

At SPEC Services, we are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to join our team. As a key player in our marketing department, you will be responsible for crafting compelling marketing materials, orchestrating events, and supporting our sales and engineering teams with innovative communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Materials: Design eye-catching brochures, presentations, case studies, website content, and engaging social media posts.
  • Event Planning: Organize and participate in marketing events like webinars, trade shows, golf events, conferences, and seminars.
  • Market Research: Keep your finger on the pulse of market trends, competitors, and customer feedback, and report on the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales and engineering teams to provide them with top-notch marketing and communication tools.
  • Proposal Management: Manage the entire proposal process, from crafting compelling proposals to preparing for interviews and organizing pre-bid meetings.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee proposal strategies, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ guidelines and deadlines.
  • Content Creation: Write, revise, and proofread texts for qualifications, proposals, and presentations.
  • Opportunity Identification: Monitor web-based bid sites to identify new opportunities.
  • Brand Management: Use our corporate branding guidelines to create distinctive and competitive visual and textual content.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update our CRM system and marketing database.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, communications, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in marketing coordination, and self-driven professional growth, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for creating engaging and persuasive content.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities, with the talent to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Creative and Analytical Mindset: A blend of creative thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and generate fresh ideas.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM software, along with knowledge of SEO, social media, and digital marketing tools.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally and attend marketing events.
