Data Entry Specialist - Remote Opportunity

To be a successful data entry specialist, one should possess excellent typing skills and be attentive to detail. Skilled professionals should be able to quickly identify data errors and demonstrate precision in their work.

Responsibilities include gathering, collating, and preparing documents, materials, and information for data entry. Research is conducted to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials. Digital documents are created from paper or dictation. All documents and information are reviewed for accuracy and any errors or inconsistencies are informed to the supervisor. Data is captured into digital databases and regular backups are performed. Databases, archives, and filing systems are updated and maintained. Errors or inconsistencies in databases are monitored and corrected. Data reports, spreadsheets, and documents are generated and exported as needed. Clerical duties such as filing, monitoring office supplies, scanning, and printing are performed as required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience as a data entry operator or similar role. Excellent typing abilities, time management, and multitasking skills are necessary. Proficiency in data capturing and office management software such as MS Office and Google Suite is expected. The ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately is crucial. A good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems is also essential. Knowledge of administrative and clerical operations is required. A keen eye for detail and the ability to concentrate for extended periods are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
