About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Specialist to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and reports that provide insights into the performance and efficiency of our IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and technical expertise for IT business operations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and data analysts to understand and define data requirements, metrics, and KPIs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate data from disparate source systems.
  • Build and optimize data models that support data transformations and engineering needs for the business of IT.
  • Create and deliver objects and dashboards that provide actionable insights into the performance and efficiency of our IT organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, and familiar with other programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS) and cloud-based databases (Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $110,500 - $152,000 per year, depending on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
