Bach to Rock (B2R) is a leading music education provider with a mission to make music accessible to students of all ages. As a part-time Brass Teacher at our Nashville West location, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of musicians.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music theory and performance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment for students of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Teach private and semi-private lessons using the B2R curriculum, covering a range of musical styles and techniques.
  • Create a motivating and supportive lesson atmosphere that encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Assess student readiness to participate in bands or ensembles and provide guidance on how to progress.
  • Support school events as needed, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain equipment, assess its condition, and perform repairs as necessary.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of music concepts and effectively communicate them to students.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to your primary instrument.
  • Develop effective time management and organizational skills to keep students focused during lessons.
  • Show comfort working in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
  • Have experience as a performer, either solo or in a group setting.
  • Working with youth and/or beginner musicians is essential.
  • Foster strong relationships with children and adults alike.
  • Able to pass a background check.

Compensation
