Job Summary

The CT Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care, adheres to radiation standards and guidelines, and provides direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures. This role involves performing routine and special computed tomography (CT) exams of moderate complexity, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.

About You

  • You have a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with experience in CT imaging and expertise in radiation safety.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • You are a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • You have a basic understanding of computer systems, including Hospital/Radiology Information Systems and Office software.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine and special CT exams of moderate complexity, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  4. Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies, techniques, and procedures in the field of radiologic technology.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) or Temporary State Licensure.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (CNMT).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Benefits
