Mobile Mammography Imaging Specialist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled travel Mammography Technologist to join their team in Houston, Texas. This exciting opportunity will allow the selected candidate to gain valuable experience and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for working as a Mammography Technologist, utilizing their expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients undergoing mammography procedures. The role will involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and maintaining accurate records.
Job DescriptionThis 15-week contract will require the candidate to work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds
- Experience working as a Mammography Technologist or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The estimated salary for this position is $34-$40 per hour, based on an 8-hour shift. With 40 hours worked per week, this translates to approximately $2816-$3056 per week. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, the selected candidate will also receive a tax-free stipend, estimated at $1456 per week.
