Position Summary:
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service within the store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and providing comprehensive information to facilitate sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Uphold brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness.
- Proactively address customer needs and exceed expectations by adhering to the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standard.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms as necessary.
- Perform cashier duties when required, following established protocols.
- Manage merchandise shipment and ensure full representation of products on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with management to identify and resolve store issues.
- Provide customers with detailed product and brand knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting any infractions to management.
- Support special projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in basic math, including calculating discounts and percentages.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
- Adept at navigating the sales floor and stockroom, with the ability to perform repetitive movements.
Schedule Requirements:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule that accommodates business needs, including evenings and weekends.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with a minimum of 6 months of retail or related experience.
