Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
  • Plan and review logistics processes to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor and report on site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure seamless operations
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, track performance, and provide coaching and counseling
  • Cultivate a positive team culture and promote diversity and inclusion
  • Perform performance evaluations and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes
  • Implement health and safety initiatives and maintain positive labor relations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred
  • Direct supervisory/leadership experience required
