About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Corporation. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure, reliable, and flexible IT infrastructure systems
  • Architect and deploy best practice infrastructures and systems
  • Implement Linux/Windows security controls to maintain system compliance
  • Research and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of RedHat Linux, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, and related technologies
  • Ability to architect, deploy, and maintain secure, reliable, and flexible IT infrastructure systems
  • Subject Matter Expert in researching and troubleshooting complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Department of Defense Secret clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Experience with implementing compliance controls such as STIGs, RMF, DFARS, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC
