Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Manufacturing Engineering Instructor to join our team at Houston Community College (HCC). As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of manufacturing engineering technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in manufacturing engineering technology, including topics such as quality control, lean manufacturing, and six sigma.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career development.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of manufacturing engineering technology and incorporate new knowledge and technologies into your teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives, including committee work and professional development activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in manufacturing engineering technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in manufacturing engineering technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
