Machining Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Instructor to join our team at Lone Star College. As a Machining Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Machining courses at various times and locations. You will create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. You will also submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Machining courses at a variety of times and locations. Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner. Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines. Meet with and advise students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods. Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress. Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required. Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
Requirements
An Associate's degree in Machining or Manufacturing Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Technology. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field.
