Responsibilities:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist collaborates effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services.

This role supports the Radiologist by assisting in the execution of both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while also managing the processing and transmission of images to the PACS system.



Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Possession of a current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, along with A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in acute clinical radiology is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with both mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
  • Graduation from a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA is necessary.
  • Strong computer proficiency is required.
